Trust Fund Claiming Assistance

Persons planning to seek reimbursement of cleanup cost from the Trust Fund must complete an application for eligibility and receive approval of same from the NCDENR.  The application cannot be submitted until confirmation of a release of petroleum can be provided.

Following NCDENR approval of the eligibility application and completion of NCDENR required cleanup actions, claim forms must be submitted that document reasonable and necessary cleanup costs.  The NCDENR will reimburse costs based on the claim forms executed by the property owner.

Cohesion will assist our clients with applying to the Trust Fund for acceptance into the program, and will also assist with claim forms for reimbursement of cleanup cost.
